She was predeceased by: her parents, Nguyen Van Chon and Nguyen Thi Y.. She is survived by: her husband Frederic H. Kenney; her children, Lan "Jacqueline" Truong (Tu), Linh Nguyen (Alan), Minh Kenney (Lisa), Hai Kenney (Kim) and Jeanne "Thu" Howard (Michael); her sister Hoa Nguyen; her nephew Phong Nguyen; and her nieces, Van Nguyen and Nga Nguyen.
