It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Watt Rieck of Bethany Beach, Delaware, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Morgan Watt and Emily Traband Watt; and her husband Kenneth C. Rieck. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Ginny Barry of Baltimore and Bob Rieck of Rockville, MD.; and her siblings, Emily Coyne of Marquette, MI and Thomas Watt of York, PA. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
