He was predeceased by : his parents, Linwood William Messick and Cecil Catherine Eskridge; and his brother Kenneth Charles Messick. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Ellen; his daughter Sheila Robin Culver (Jake); his grandsons, Dustin Messick, Jeremy Culver (Amber) and Joshua Culver (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Bryant Whittington, Tyler Vaughn, Mikhail Messick, Lucinda Messick, Cheyenne Culver, Ariyah Culver, Hailey Culver and Riley Culver.
