She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Mae and James S. Johnson; and her children, George Horne Jr., Albert Horne, Kathleen Horne and Joyce Horne.
She is survived by: her daughter Lillian R. Horne of Durham; and her grandchildren, Barry Lott of Newark, Tyrone Gibbs, Kalissa Horne, Katara Horne of Bridgeville, Katina Henry (Shannon) of Richmond, VA, Anthony Horne of Harbeson, Andre Horne of Bear and Deshawn Young of Milford, Delaware.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St John's United Methodist Church (300 N Pine St, Seaford, DE 19973). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St John United Methodist Church (300 N Pine St, Seaford, DE 19973). A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Union Cemetery.
