He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Griswold, (Chapman) and William Henry Griswold, Jr.; and his wife Elizabeth Brooks Griswold. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Fitzgerald (Mark), Susan Hannigan (Geoff) and William Griswold; his grandchildren, Jaclyn DiMascio (Chris), Sean Fitzgerald (Kelly), Bridget Hannigan, Will Griswold and Sammy Griswold; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Derek DiMascio, Josie and Greta Fitzgerald.
