It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Albert Jefferson Sr. of Bridgeville, Delaware, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jefferson of Washington and Margaret Frampton Jefferson; his siblings, Irvin Jefferson, Jack Jefferson, George Jefferson, Robert Lee Jefferson, Thomas O. Jefferson, Catherine Flaig and Joyce Ann Seabreeze; and his granddaughter Courtney Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Jefferson; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Jefferson (Meredith), William Jefferson Jr., Scott Jefferson and Dale Jefferson; his stepchildren, Catherine Mariner and Ted Mariner Jr.; and his brother N. Richard Jefferson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Mason Dixon Woodworkers, P.O. Box 54, Delmar, DE 19940.
