He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Watkinson and Ruth Watkinson; his former life partner Iris; his wife Janice; his sister Margaret Ann Williams; and his brother-in-law John Laramore, Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Jean Carole Dorr (Thomas), Eddie Davis, Jr. (Janet) and Penny Boyd (Tim); his grandchildren, Brittany Davis, Laci Stubbs (Jason), Timothy Boyd and Eric Davis (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Gwen, Jason and Max; his brother Bobby Watkinson (Della); and his brother-in-law Marty Laramore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as extended family and friends.
