She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Murphy and Annie Ivy Ford; and her children, David Larry Edwards, Diana Mae Hicks and Loretta Lynn Brower.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Smith Edwards; and her brother James Murphy. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pippin Funeral Home (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
