He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Emberger (Gordon); his former wife Mary Dougherty; and his children, George, Eleanor (Vincent), Donna and Jerry (Maryanne).
He is survived by: his father George Emberger; his wife Carolyn Dougherty; his children, Michael (Eileen) and Glenn (Sue); and his stepchildren, Thomas Dougherty, Douglas Dougherty (Stephanie), Shawn Dougherty and Heather D'Andrea (Brian). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pippin Funeral Home (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934).
