She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Gary Hurd; her nephew Ryan Hurd; her niece Ada Todd; her son Gary Hurd Jr.; her sister Patricia Collins; her parents, Ethel Boone and Benjamin O. Bowden; and her siblings, William Bowden and Carol Lynn.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Marydel Fire Company, 110 Firehouse Lane, Marydel, DE 19964.
