With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Halsey Sr. (Camden Wyoming, Delaware), who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emily Shaw and Paul Halsey; and his sons-in-law, Wayne Creed, Paul Smith and David Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Halsey; his son John W. Halsey, Jr.; his stepchildren, Kevin Cox (Spencer) of Magnolia, James Creed (Michelle) of Camden, Marie Caldwell of Felton, Sharon Creed (Kathy) of Felton, Tara Cox of Magnolia, Patricia Smith of Felton and Annie Poore (Dorsey Poore) of Magnolia; and his sister-in-law Virginia Creed of Felton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
