She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Short and Virginia Short; her daughter Teresa Martinez; and her sister Phyllis Ann Mace. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Gasper; and her grandchildren, Guillermo Martinez, Christopher Hurd, Michelle Martinez, Tiffany Martinez and Austin Gasper. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and countless extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Kent County SPCA, an organization Joyce faithfully supported for many years.
