He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Mary. He is survived by: his pet Abby; his wife Joan; his children, Cena Cronis (Glenn DeWitt), Vicki Cronis-Nohe (Dean Nohe), Paula Soghomonian (Chris Soghomonian), Chris Cronis (Abigail Beshkin) and Greg Cronis; his grandchildren, Courtney Clewer (Justin Clewer), Samuel Soghomonian, Alexandra Soghomonian and Austin Nohe; and his great grandchild Parker Clewer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks mourners to donate to Habitat for Humanity, for which Sam volunteered following his retirement.
