Barbara J. Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 89, Barbara J. Moore (Claymont, Delaware), born in South Portland, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy A. Moore and Lawrence H. Moore; her sister Patricia Truitt; and her granddaughter Isla Noble. She is survived by: her significant other Paul Scarborough; her brother Donald P. Moore (Mary); her children, Lawrence Noble (Ann), Dawn Noble Jackson (Jon) and David Noble (Tonya Weaver); and her grandchildren, Jaime Ann, Kendel Lyn, Virginia Lee, Thomas Jonathan and Ava Grace.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gebhart Funeral Homes (3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the following places of historical preservation that were dear to her heart the Sanderson Museum, 1755 Creek Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317 and/or Brandywine Battlefield 1491 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317.
