She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Slaughter and Charles Slaughter; her daughter Sharon; her brothers, Robert and Charles; and her husband Larry.

She is survived by: her children, John Rich (Joanne) and Dawn Giorgi (Joseph); her grandchildren, Jenn, Jimmy, Melissa, Shawn and Sharon; and her great grandchild Mason. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local food banks in her honor.
