It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald J. Carney of Claymont, Delaware, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald J. Carney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Carney and Alberta Carney. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Fromal (Michael); his stepchildren, Barbra Harding (Jerry) and Terry McGuire; and his brother Dennis Carney (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
