It is with sadness that the passing of Joseph Friel Sr. of Clayton, Delaware is shared. Joseph, born on October 19, 1949, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Friel; and his parents, James Friel and Dorothy Yankus (Shultz). He is survived by: his children, Barbara (Jeff) and Joseph Jr. (Kendra); his grandchildren, Shane, Katie and Carmella; and his siblings, James, Dorothy and Karen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kuzo Funeral Home (250 W State St, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
