With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Mahlon Ziegler of Clayton, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harbold Ziegler and Frances Naomi Ziegler; and his sibling's children, Abigail S. Shetzler and John E. Shetzler, IV. He is survived by: his children, Joseph T. Ziegler (Jul) and Alison M. Ziegler; his grandchildren, Joseph F, Mahlon J. Ziegler, Nevaeh A. Johnson, Elijah D. Reece and Delilah N. Reece; his sisters, Eunice Z. Craig (Jerry), Susan Z. Shetzler (John) and Janet Z. Brown (Tom); and his siblings' children, Gregory Reed (Melissa), R. Jerry Craig, Jr. (Ann), Jennifer C. Purcell (Gregory) and Emily F. Shetzler.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Joseph Mahlon Ziegler be sent to the American Legion Post 14, 107 W. Glenwood Ave., Smyrna, DE 19977.
