He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen McLaren and Margaret McLaren (Brodie). He is survived by: his wife Jane L. McLaren (Downs); his children, Lori Marabella (Peter) of Princeton Junction, Allen McLaren of Dallas and David McLaren of Dagsboro, Delaware; his grandchildren, Samuel Marabella, McKenzie McLaren and Julia Marabella; his cousin William Edgar (Eileen) of Point Pleasant; his family Lord Jesus; Nancy Evans (Bill) of Verona, Meg and Will.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in John's name to Mariner's Bethel Global Methodist Church Hope Center, 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE 19970.
