We are sad to announce that, on July 20, 2025, at the age of 78, Meri Jo Montague of Dagsboro, Delaware, born in Milford, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Meri may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Montague and Phoebe Montague; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Rae Long (Mack), Kevin and Jay Montague.
She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Montague and Hugh Montague (Jo Ann); her nieces, Lisa Long Terranova (Mike) and Pamela Montague; her great-nephew Clayton Peters; her nephew Scott Long; and her sister-in-law Sharon Montague. She is also survived by cousins, friends and family.
