He was predeceased by : his parents, Ellen B. Bell and Harvey A. Marley. He is survived by : his wife Susan; his daughters, Kathryn Russell and Kimberly Nawrocki; his sons-in-law, Timothy Russell and Joe Nawrocki III; and his sister Barbara Marley of Columbia, MD..

Michael had a love for dogs, therefore in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA (https://bvspca.org), Georgetown Campus.
