It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Marvel of Dagsboro, Delaware, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ralph W. Burbage. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Marie Burbage (Evans); her husband Keith Marvel; her children, Keili Marvel (Christy Weber) of Dagsboro, DE and Kyle Marvel (Lexi) of Dagsboro, DE; her siblings, Richard Burbage (Rhoda) of Salem, VA and Rhonda McManus (William) of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and her siblings' children, Aaron Burbage (Whitney), Evan Hill (Gary), Ryan McManus (Jenny) and Adam McManus (Laura).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services (38040 Muddy Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ruth Ann's memory to the Indian River High School Alumni Association, 29772 Armory Rd., Dagsboro, DE 19939 or to your local library.
