He was predeceased by : his wife Julie Walton Moore; and his parents, John Moore and Jeanette Moore. He is survived by : his sons, Tyler and William Trevor Moore (Aleya); and his brothers, John Moore and Eddie Moore.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Inova Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center.

“With sadness we read of Bill's promotion and healing to His Heavenly Father. He had an unbelievable zest for life and I will always think of him and "Wipeout." That guy could play the drums and loved all his instruments and music friends at the Jam at St. Matthews By The Sea. His love for Julie and hers for him was Hallmark worthy. What an example he was to all around him. He will be missed here on earth but he is celebrating with Julie right now. Praising God for his life.”
