It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph T. Bennett of Delaware City, Delaware, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Lula Mae Bennett (Jess); his wife Cordelia Bennett; and his siblings, Gene Bennett, Harold Bennett, Dorothy Jeandell, George Bennett, Mary Ellen Curlett, Billy Bennett and Robert Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Bennett (Wayne) of Delaware City, Terri Bennett Mcguigan of Wilmington and Dr. Bonni Roberts (Paul) of Newark. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
