It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy I. Shifflett of Delmar, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, Maryland, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Kennerly and Dorothy Kolehofer Kennerly; and her children, Georgia Lilly, William "Willie" Lilly and Kenneth Lilly.

She is survived by : her husband Charles "Chuck" L. Shifflett; her children, Veronica Raymond of Delmar and Richard Scott Shifflett; her granddaughter Amanda Raymond (Elon); her great grandchild Andrea Severn; her goddaughter Brittany Bailey; and her siblings, Shirley Fredericks, David Gowen and James Gowen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Seaford Church (805 Atlanta Rd, Seaford, DE 19973).
