He is survived by: his wife Jean Boughman Bowden; his children, Glenda June Shrieves (Herbert), Gary Ernest Bowden (Joan), Dennis Eugene Bowden (Gwen) and Carol Denise Dent (Curtis); his stepson Tony Boughman; his grandchildren, Ernie Shrieves, Becky Bowden, Emily Tedore (Adam), Jared Bowden, Lindsay Daniels (Grant), Ryan Bowden, Christopher Dent (Becky) and Catrina Hernandez (Michael); his great grandchildren, Skye Shrieves, Brianna Shrieves, Zachary Dozier, Delpha Daniels, Morgan Dent, Daemyn Dent, Colby Hernandez and Madison Hernandez; and his siblings, Roland Bowden (Joyce), Nettie Timmons and Carrie Bradford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
