He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Hughes Walker (Joseph Walker, III); his grandsons, Joseph IV and Alexander Walker; his children, Gwendolyn Hughes and Glen'Alan'Hughes, II; his sister Donna Hughes Ensor (Joseph Ensor); his sister-in-law Sheila Smith Fisher; and his pet Obadiah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
