He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph I. Beach and Lettie Goslee Beach; his stepmother Dora Beach; his siblings, Clifford M. Beach, Joseph Douglas Beach, James Donald Beach, Robert "Bobby" Beach, Peggy Beach Ward and Betty Beach Brickhouse; his siblings-in-law, Violet, Phyllis, Margaret, Fred Ward, Bill Wells, Eddie McWilliams and Clinton Smith; and his nephews, Jay Jay Brickhouse and David Meisenheimer.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith Beach; his children, Kenny Beach (Jeanne) and Sharon Beach (Daniel Strickler); his grandchildren, Christopher Beach (Christine), Shelby Strickler and Skylar Strickler; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Brielle and Wyatt; his sister-in-law Mildred Wells; and his nieces and nephews, Joe, Lynn, Peggy Lee, Milton, Clay, Barry, Brent, MaryPat and Jackie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
