He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Van Zandt (Ganoe); his daughter Kristina Riggin (Steve); his children-in-law, Jeni and Tommy; his grandchildren, Jordan (Ana), Cody (Courtney), Nicholas, Gage, Zachary, Nathan, Allyson, Chris and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Elaina, Shiloh, Mariana, Lyle, Lilly, Hazel, Hudson, Mallory and Hadley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
