He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Lynch, Sr. and Mabel Mariner Lynch; his wife JoAnn Mariner Lynch; his brother Leland Lynch; his brother-in-law Wayne Parsons; and his nephews, Tommy Parsons and Casey Lynch.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Ann Dorsey (Michael) of Hebron; his grandchildren, Brooks Michael Dorsey (Amber) of Hampton, VA and Rachel Elizabeth-Ann Layfield (Brady) of Virginia Beach, VA; his great grandchild Christopher Crews; and his siblings, Star Lee Parsons, Alex Lynch (Margot) and George W. Lynch, Jr. (Rosemary).
