We bid farewell to Joyce Lea Figgs of Delmar, Delaware, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Joyce Lea touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennard C. Carey and Anna L. Carey (Elliott); her husband Lacey K. Figgs; and her siblings, Richard Carey (JoAnn), Clifford "Jiggy" Carey, Grace LeCates (Pete) and Betty Hastings (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Figgs and Donald Figgs (Andrea); her grandson Justin Figgs (Angie); her great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Noah; and her brother Norman Carey (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, her beloved DFD family and a host of close friends.
