We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mildred Lucille Riley of Delmar, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bunting Bennett and Nora Wright Bennett; her husband Charles Samuel Riley; and her sister-in-law Katharine Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Andrew "Andy" Riley (Amy), Gary Riley and Anna Era (Greg); her grandchildren, Stephen Riley, Patrick Riley (Katie), Katie Dietsch, Kyle Era and Ryan Era; her great grandchildren, Nora, Odin, Henri, Connor and Maeve; and her brother Richard Bennett (Linda). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
