He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Prettyman and Mae Prettyman (Hastings); his siblings, Samuel "Sammy" Prettyman, Freddie Prettyman and Martha Ellen Prettyman; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Littleton, Joe Simpler, Shirley Prettyman and Marlene Simpler.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynn Prettyman (Simpler); his son Daniel Prettyman; his granddaughter Skylee; his sisters, Clara Belle Littleton and Esther Hastings (Clarke); and his brother-in-law Wayne Simpler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
