She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Grant Perry and Martha Culver Perry; her husband George W. Scott; and her sons, Phillip Wade Scott and George W. Scott, II.

She is survived by: her son Douglas W. Scott (Laura Owens); her grandchildren, Katie Kimbro (Brad), Krista Wing (Zeke), Kaleb Scott, Kimberlyn Lewis (Dillon), Tyler Scott (Megan) and Cody Scott; her great grandchildren, Kenton, Kendall, Eli, Klaira and Noah; her brother Earl G. "Buddy" Perry, II (Karen); and her daughters-in-law, Mellisa Nunley and Teresa Bennington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
