He is survived by: his children, Stephen Sooy Jr., Matthew Sooy, Christopher Sooy, Kane Lewis and Peyton Griffith; his grandchildren, Iris Sooy, Meadow Sooy, Paisley Lewis and Liam Sooy; his siblings, Jonathan Rivera and Vanessa Rivera; and his aunt Dale Sooy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
