Teresa leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Teresa’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Teresa will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett James Harris, Sr. and Margaret Ann Henderson Harris; her sister Joyce Harris Hopper; and her nephew James Hopper. She is survived by: her husband Kevin W. Cooper; her son Shawn W. Cooper (Laura); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shawn Jr., Cody and Jax Cooper; and her brother Everett James "Jim" Harris, Jr. (Tammy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
