Adaline A Jefferson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adaline A Jefferson (Dover, Delaware), who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alfred C. Mitchell Sr.; her husband Isaac N. Jefferson Sr.; her grandson Jerrell Baxter; and her siblings, Iola Ringgold, Olivia Marie Sexton, James C. Mitchell, Matthew C. Mitchell, Margie L. Elsey, Dwight Mitchell, Silvia Evans, Gertrude Elzey and Vaughn Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Isaac N. Jefferson Jr. (Claudene Strain) of Felton Delaware and Rowena G. Jefferson (Baxter) of Stafford Virginia; her grandchildren, Michael Baxter Sr. of Washington, DC, Antoino Thomas of Bristow Virginia, Michelle Jefferson of Dover Delaware, Tiffany Baxter of Richmond Virginia and Ceara Jefferson of Dover Delaware; and her siblings, Dorothy Barnes of Delaware, Naomi Johnson of New Jersey, Guelda Tull of New Jersey, Alfred C. Mitchell Jr. of New Jersey and Charles Mitchell of Delaware. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her service continued until COVID struck and her health started to decline.
