He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Schmidt and Albert J. Schmidt; and his son Andrew J. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Schmidt (Arnott); his sons, Albert J. Schmidt (Beth), Alexander J. Schmidt (Samantha) and Adam J. Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Morgan Schmidt; his sister Lorielee Harrison; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Savannah, Aidan, August, Axel, Skylar and Arlo Schmidt. He is also survived by his grandchildren and children.
