Barbara Ann Piccioni Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Piccioni (Dover, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Koons and Barbara Koons. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Lawrence Piccioni of Camden, DE; her daughters, Amanda Sumner (John) of Galena, MD and Jessica Roach (Conor) of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; her siblings, Joseph Koons Jr. (Eileen) of Alexandria, VA and Jen Koons of Pottsville, PA; and her granddaughters, Alison and Grace Sumner.
