We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2025, at the age of 88, Barbara Spratley of Dover, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Collins and Alfred Spratley; her son Russell Spratley Sr.; her sister Doris Lester; her brothers-in-law, Handsome Lester and Tomey Reddick; and her nephew Alonzo Reddick.
She is survived by: her children, Renwick Spratley Sr. and Jeanette Burgess; her sister Gloria Reddick; her sibling's children, Clementine Wilson-Ellis, Gregory Reddick (Laura) and Penelope Tatum (Eddie); her grandchildren, Latasha, Tracey King, Russell Jr., Wayne Spratley, Renwick Spratley Jr. and Jalisha Timmons; and her friends, Mary Dinkins and Mergerta Miller. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (410 Fulton St, Dover, DE 19904). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
