We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 72, Bonney L. Roswell of Dover, Delaware, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dunn, Sr. and Lena Jane Failing Dunn; her husband Robert J. Roswell, Sr.; and her son Robert J. Roswell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Heather Jordan (Brian) of Dover and Jason Roswell of Dover; her brothers, Charles J. Dunn, Jr. (Sandy) of Largo, FL and Barry B. Dunn of St. Petersburg, FL; and her grandchildren, Ashlynn, Emily, Luke, Alayna, Finlee and Freya.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 555 E. Lookerman St, Suite 200, Dover, DE 19901 or First State Animal Shelter and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.

“I worked with Bonney over 45 years ago at Donuts and Things in the Carroll’s Corner Shopping Center, and sometime thereafter with her husband Bob at the City of Dover. Bonney and Bob were both very kind loving people and had a wonderful sense of humor. I have very fond memories of Bonney and her laughter. Now she is rejoined with Bob to spend eternity together. My condolences and prayers to Bonney’s family. Donna Mitchell”
