We announce the death of Carl Garlic of Dover, Delaware, who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 83. Carl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Garlic Sr. and Hattie Arrington Garlic; his mother-in-law Mary Mahoney; his siblings, Allen Garlic and Donna Garlic Hudgins; his grandmothers, Ethel Arrington and Georgia Kopelen; his aunt Arretta Wiley; his uncle Bob Arrington; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Wyatt Garlic and Tony Rebelo Barbosa; and his nephews, Herbie Slaughter, Jr. and Michael Hudgins.

He is survived by: his significant other Barbara; his siblings, Bill Garlic of Roscoe Garlic, Cliff Garlic, Hilda Garlic Slaughter (Herb) and Mazie Garlic Barbosa; and his siblings-in-law, Ginny Gruwell Garlic and Carl "Sonny" Hudgins.
