With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos A. Pettyjohn (Dover, Delaware), born in Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Henderson Pettyjohn and Lemuel Pettyjohn; and his siblings, Sharon Vanessa Pettyjohn, Maurice Pettyjohn and Gary Pettyjohn.
He is survived by: his son Carlos Pettyjohn of Seaford; his grandchildren, Iay Sauls III (Tre), Irieayana Sauls and Brandon Sauls; his sisters, Mary Pettyjohn of Dover, Charletta Pettyjohn Johnson (Sylvester) of Bear and Lavelda Pettyjohn of Dover; and his close friend Claudette Glass. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephews, cousins, and friends.
