It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Helmick Fortier (Dover, Delaware), born in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Fortier; her children, Matthew Fortier (Laura), Teri Ball (Ralph) and Anne Ochs (Bryan); and her brother Michael Helmick (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Catholic Relief Services or the American Heart Association.
