He is survived by: his wife Joyce Johnson-Lee; and his children, Mark Pettiford (Becky) of Durham, Earl Lee of Dover, Delaware and Vicki Shockley of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by two granddaughters; one grandson; and three great grandchildren.
