She was predeceased by: her father Franklin Downes; and her son James Benjamin Shockley, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James "Ben" Shockley; her grandson James Benjamin Shockley, III (Danielle) of Dover; and her daughter-in-law Marta Shockley of Dover. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
