He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vaughan and Betty Hill Vaughan; his wife Georgia Carroll Vaughan; his son David Vaughan, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles, Paul, Willie, Ella Sue and Shelia.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Windsor (Scott) of Dover; his grandchild Michele Jones (Dave) of Magnolia; his brothers, Billy Vaughan of Tucson, AZ and Sammy Vaughan (Gini) of Goldsboro, NC; and his grandsons, Zachary Windsor, Joshua Windsor and Evan Moser.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Accent Care Hospice, Christina Hospital.
