With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Vowels of Dover, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amanda Foster (Butler) and Wade Hamilton Foster; and her husband Chief Master Sgt. Milton Russell Vowels. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Susan Amanda Vowels of Dover and Karen Lucille Vowels Earle (Patrick) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her granddaughters, Susan Foster Earle (Travis Reese) of Minneapolis, Grace Elizabeth Earle (Michael Kleiman), Jane Ellen Piñon (Eric) and Lydia Alice Earle (Lela Grant) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Nora, Miles, Henry Earle Reese of Minneapolis, Wade Earle Kleiman of Milwaukee, Charles, Maximo, Sofía, María and Luca Piñon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and her siblings, Jane Brewer of Emeryville, Alice Clark of Philadelphia, Margaret Edwards of San Francisco, Nancy Foster of Round Rock, Niamani Mutima of Warrenton, Virginia, James Foster of Danville and Stephen Allen Foster of Midland, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and many dear friends.
