With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Claire (Dottie) Kelly of Dover, Delaware, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Theodore and Clara Tremayne (Sturdevant); and her sister Lucy J. Durney (Jim Kelly). She is survived by: her husband Emerson James Kelly (Jim); her children, Ted Jarrell and Kim Provo; her stepchildren, Chris Kelly, Stella Quinn and Phyllis Moses; and her grandchildren, Brian Hickman, Natalie Newsome, Jody Dallas, Tracy Kelly, Mattew Jarrell, Krista Jarrell, Victoria Kelly, Ashley Swanson, Christian Quinn and Julia Provo.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pippin Funeral Home (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests contributions be given in Dottie's memory to Three Stones Church, 1476 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901.
