She was predeceased by: her husband John J. McGovern. She is survived by: her children, Tina M. Feltcher and Richard L. McGovern; her grandchildren, Meghan E. Wolfgang, Caitlin E. Feltcher, Michael J. Feltcher, Johnathan M. Feltcher and Jacqueline E. McGovern; her great grandchildren, Amelia J. Woods, Liam M. Woods, Samantha E. Wolfgang, Hailey E. Feltcher and Harper M. Feltcher; and her sisters, Zena May Santore, Ethel Helen Piecara and Theresa May Santore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Elda enjoyed sewing and would make baby clothing to donate.
